Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Fagerberg started the match with the kick off. Stig Liljeström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bohus IF booed when Bjärtrå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Stig Liljeström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Liljeström got free with Leif Glanselius in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Roy Billing took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leif Glanselius to make any attempt to save it. Stig Liljeström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Glanselius having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bohus IF's Agne Termander got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bjärtrå's Lars Sundberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bohus IF. Axel Fernkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Roy Billing hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Fagerberg in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Fernkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bohus IF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emil Kielstedt hit a great ball. Leif Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Billing in the 43rd minute of the match. Stig Liljeström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leif Glanselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Fernkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Fagerberg in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Billing made a kick off. Axel Fernkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Bengtsson in the 61st minute. Sven Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Axel Fernkvist made a huge save. Bohus IF's Axel Fernkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Bohus IF from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Bjärtrå's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Liljeström came free, but Leif Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roy Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Fernkvist having to interfere. When Bjärtrå's Douglas Fagerberg in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bohus IF's goalie prevented a goal. Ivar Lang hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Torbjörn Pååk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bjärtrå's Leif Glanselius didn't even have to move. If Stig Liljeström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Lundgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bjärtrå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bohus IF the free kick. In the 94th minute, Stig-Ove Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bohus IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
