Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manfred Östlund kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Manfred Östlund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Motala's Joel Klint. Joel Klint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Klint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Karlsson in the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Näshulta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Blomqvist came free, but Walter Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that August Karlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Klint was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Motala's Niclas Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Manfred Östlund struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Joel Klint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näshulta IF. August Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Klint having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Motala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Smedfeldt to maneuver through the defense. August Karlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Klint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Olov Vase might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Rosen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Vase ran back to his position shaking his head. Pontus Berg's late challenge caught a Näshulta IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pontus Berg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Näshulta IF booed when Motala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Blomqvist in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fritz Blomqvist made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Näshulta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Blomqvist came free, but Walter Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motala's Joel Klint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Östlund in the 56th minute of play. Joel Klint made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when August Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Walter Rosen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Vase's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, August Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Näshulta IF's supporters rose to their feet, but August Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Klint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Östlund in the 64th minute of play forced Motala's goalkeeper Joel Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Olov Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Näshulta IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Torsberg to maneuver through the defense. When John Hedström fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Näshulta IF's protests and gave John Hedström a yellow card for diving instead. John Hedström kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. August Karlsson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Edgar Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Motala's Joel Klint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Östlund in the 83rd minute of play. August Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Joel Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Näshulta IF's Manfred Östlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Klint narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Motala getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tobias Strand hit a great ball. August Karlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Joel Klint made a huge save. Näshulta IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
