Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Långträsk BF's Holger Andersson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Rökå FF's zone, John Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Henriksson came out of the goal and John Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stellan Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Matthias Hägglund's late challenge caught a Långträsk BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Hägglund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Rökå FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Håkansson in the 15th minute of play forced Rökå FF's goalkeeper Stellan Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Börje Backlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Backlund having to interfere. When Holger Andersson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Stellan Henriksson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Michael Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Michael Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rökå FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Rune Björck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börje Backlund having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Sjögren to make the kick off. Stellan Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, one of Rökå FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Stellan Henriksson went to the wrong direction when Nils Skager was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Michael Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Backlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. Börje Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Björck in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rökå FF's Matthias Hägglund got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The attack was good, but when Holger Andersson in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 77 minutes into the match, Rökå FF's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Andersson came free, but Stellan Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Backlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Björck in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Alf Drewitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rökå FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Långträsk BF the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Rökå FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Långträsk BF:s goal. 1-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Bengt-Rune Björck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Börje Backlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Långträsk BF's Börje Backlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Sjögren in the 92nd minute of play. Alf Drewitz didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 101st minute, Michael Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rökå FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Backlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rökå FF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
