Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Reine Benett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Sundén in the 5th minute of the match. When Börje Mogren came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Vadstena FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Mogren couldn't finish the play. Linus Palmkvist struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rune Engman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vadstena FK. Börje Mogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rune Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Tor Sundén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sågmyra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Sundén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenny Forsberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Börje Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Engman having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Linus Palmkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sågmyra's Rune Engman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rune Engman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Mogren in the 30th minute of play. If Linus Palmkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sågmyra's Albert Nordin got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tor Sundén hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Manfred Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Engman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Börje Mogren went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor Sundén made a kick off. In the 54th minute Erling Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Benett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Vadstena FK got a freekick which was hit by Arman Åman. After 60 played minutes Vadstena FK got a freekick which was hit by Linus Palmkvist. After a defensive mix-up in Vadstena FK's zone, Erling Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Benett came out of the goal and Erling Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Linus Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rune Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Mogren hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Albert Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Benett having to interfere. Erling Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reine Benett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Börje Mogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvin Nilsson during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sågmyra's Alvin Nilsson got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tor Sundén might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reine Benett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tor Sundén ran back to his position shaking his head. Erling Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reine Benett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Alvin Nilsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alvin Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, Vadstena FK's Kenny Forsberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rune Engman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vadstena FK reached it. Jakob Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rune Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sågmyra's Karl-Ove Martinsson got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Erling Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
