When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Giöck made a kick off. When Mats Sandberg fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lotorp RK's protests and gave Mats Sandberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sundsvall IFK booed when Lotorp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Andberg having to interfere. Jens-Ove Andberg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ivan Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. Aleksander Söder came out of the goal and Orvar Knutsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lotorp RK's Peter Häger got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jens-Ove Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Giöck in the 69th minute of the match. Jens-Ove Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Giöck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sundsvall IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Erik Åkerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Alfred Giöck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. Sundsvall IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 100th minute of the match, Alfred Giöck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens-Ove Andberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
