Daniel Skytt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Sundsvall IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Skytt to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Västra Ämtervik got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Lindström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Giöck in the 6th minute of play forced Västra Ämtervik's goalkeeper Claes Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Ödmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksander Söder having to make a save. After 10 played minutes Sundsvall IFK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Rosen. If Ingvar Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksander Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Hedström in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Per-Åke Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Bo Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Per-Åke Arenstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundsvall IFK's Aleksander Söder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Ödmann struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Aleksander Söder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västra Ämtervik. Alfred Giöck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Sundsvall IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Ivan Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundsvall IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Jonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Giöck in the 44th minute of play forced Västra Ämtervik's goalkeeper Claes Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Ödmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Alfred Giöck made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Per-Åke Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Västra Ämtervik's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Jonsson came free, but Claes Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudolf Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Sundsvall IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Arenstedt came free, but Aleksander Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Giöck in the 66th minute of the match. Bo Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Claes Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Giöck, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Rudolf Ödmann in the 78th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Aleksander Söder kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 81 minutes into the game, Bo Rolfsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västra Ämtervik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundsvall IFK the free kick. After 81 played minutes Västra Ämtervik got a freekick which was hit by Bo Rolfsson. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Västra Ämtervik's goalkeeper Claes Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Västra Ämtervik got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Hedström. Tord Hedkvist hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Rudolf Ödmann fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aleksander Söder, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes into the match, Västra Ämtervik's Rudolf Ödmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksander Söder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes in the game, Per-Åke Arenstedt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aleksander Söder having to interfere. When Kurt Skytt fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundsvall IFK's protests and gave Kurt Skytt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Kurt Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
