Jimmy Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Börje Brovall managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Täby's Jimmy Mårtensson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 12 minutes, Brian Pihl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Täby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Pihl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Niclas Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Bålström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Täby getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vilhelm Nordlander hit a great ball. Patrik Bålström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Petter Markusson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dalstorp and the Täby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dalstorp's Petter Markusson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Emil Kihlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Patrik Bålström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Niclas Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niclas Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Bålström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The Dalstorp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dalstorp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
