Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dalstorp's Niclas Bergman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ödeshög's Olov Billock suffered a concussion after 3 minutes and had to leave the field. When Petter Markusson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dalstorp's protests and gave Petter Markusson a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Dalstorp got a freekick which was hit by Petter Markusson. 8 minutes in the game, Emil Kihlberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alex Strömbom having to interfere. If Alex Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dalstorp's zone, Jan Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Brovall came out of the goal and Jan Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Ödeshög defense, Emil Kihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Strömbom. The Ödeshög fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Strömbom should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ödeshög booed when Dalstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Kihlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ödeshög's Alex Strömbom got control of the ball when Emil Kihlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Strömbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Kihlberg in the 23rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Niclas Bergman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jan Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Börje Brovall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Dalstorp's Andy Alströmmer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Alex Falkrantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Falkrantz to strike the kick off in the second half. Niclas Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Strömbom having to interfere. Niclas Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Dalstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Alströmmer to maneuver through the defense. Alex Falkrantz scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börje Brovall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes, Jan Lund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ödeshög and the Dalstorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ödeshög getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jan Lund hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Alex Falkrantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Kihlberg struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alex Strömbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalstorp. In the 74thth minute of the game Niclas Bergman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ödeshög's Alex Strömbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Emil Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Kihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Kihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Strömbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Kihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Strömbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niclas Bergman's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ödeshög's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Bergman came free, but Alex Strömbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Niclas Bergman made a precise shot to the right of Alex Strömbom. Ödeshög's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 91st minute Niclas Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Strömbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernt Lindqvist fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ödeshög's protests and gave Bernt Lindqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ödeshög getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bernt Lindqvist hit a great ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ödeshög's goalkeeper Alex Strömbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dalstorp fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ödeshög had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
