Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Georg Ekerot made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Filip Salkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gullspång's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älghult the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Älghult's zone, Arne Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Hökqvist came out of the goal and Arne Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Hökqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Söderström in the 15th minute of play. Filip Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filip Salkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Jon Hökqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 22 minutes in the game, Filip Salkvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jon Hökqvist having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Älghult's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filip Salkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Georg Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älghult's supporters rose to their feet, but Georg Ekerot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Vallmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Söderström in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hökqvist saved Älghult from getting behind. Filip Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon Hökqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Arne Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Georg Ekerot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Vallmark. Gullspång's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Ekerot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Älghult were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kåre Söderström made the kick off in the second half. If Filip Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jon Hökqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Älghult's goalkeeper Jon Hökqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Gullspång's Kåre Söderström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Hökqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Gullspång's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Ekerot came free, but Conny Vallmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Filip Salkvist came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gullspång fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Salkvist couldn't finish the play. When Georg Strömberg fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älghult's protests and gave Georg Strömberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gullspång booed when Älghult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Strömberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gullspång's Filip Salkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th play minute Gunnar Andberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Conny Vallmark. 0-2. Kåre Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jon Hökqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gullspång's Hannes Bäckman got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Älghult's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Söderström came free, but Jon Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filip Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Salkvist in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Hökqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Salkvist in the 96th minute of play forced Älghult's goalkeeper Jon Hökqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Källberg hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute of the match Hannes Hjälm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Vallmark showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
