In the 3rd minute, Hans Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Ekerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Johnny Bivall came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gårdsjö fans jumped to their feet. After 30 minutes, Oscar Söderlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älghult and the Gårdsjö players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Älghult getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Oscar Söderlund hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Johnny Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gårdsjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Bivall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Algren hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Hannes Hjälm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älghult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Hjälm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Georg Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älghult's supporters rose to their feet, but Georg Ekerot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Brask breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Berglund to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Ekerot in the 58th minute of play forced Gårdsjö's goalkeeper Robert Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hans Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Hans Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Bivall in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jon Hökqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Georg Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Georg Ekerot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
