The supporters of Väddö booed when Genevad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Melin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilhelm Sjöö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Palmkvist having to interfere. In the 46th minute Konrad Ekrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Väddö's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Ekrot came free, but Emanuel Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Pelle Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Genevad walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
