Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonny Vik started the match with the kick off. Fredrik Biörling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Göran Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Jan-Olof Ryberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Rydaholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Biörling. Sven-Arne Westerberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Fredrik Biörling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Göran Stenberg made a huge save. If Ove Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Jonny Vik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes of play, Storsund's Ove Tidén made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Ove Sjöman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bo-Erik Colin made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ove Tidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Tidéns short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Jan-Ove Sjöman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ulrik Bergren charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulrik Bergren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rydaholm IF's Ulrik Bergren got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Ove Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Ove Sjöman made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ove Tidén sent off a good shot on target. Göran Stenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Biörling in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Ove Tidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storsund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Tidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 minutes of play Rydaholm IF's Ulrik Bergren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Rydaholm IF's Ulrik Bergren got a free kick in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the game, Ove Tidén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jan-Ove Sjöman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan-Olof Ryberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fredrik Biörling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Stenberg having to interfere. Bo-Erik Colin's late challenge caught a Storsund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo-Erik Colin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Ove Tidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Storsund walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
