The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tingsryd were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Nykroppa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hubert Linqvist took the corner. Hubert Linqvist made a great header on Tingsryd's corner, it was just that Nykroppa's Daniel Zachrisson managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zachrisson was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Gustav Dahlgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustav Dahlgren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 16th match minute, Nykroppa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Linqvist placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 22nd minute Gustav Dahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Gustav Dahlgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adam Kielberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Zachrisson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adam Kielberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Daniel Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustav Dahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tingsryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Dahlgren couldn't finish the play. Måns Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Ingvar Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Törnkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Törnkvist having to interfere. Tom Törnkvist came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Nykroppa's Ingvar Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Ingvar Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Nykroppa were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Ingvar Jakobsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Tom Törnkvist made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tingsryd's Michael Ålberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Nykroppa were awarded a corner. Tommy Nyberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Adam Kielberg struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Zachrisson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tingsryd. After having played for 62 minutes, Måns Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nykroppa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Bergman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Kielberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Adam Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Måns Bergman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tom Törnkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Nykroppa booed when Tingsryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Alstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Törnkvist having to interfere. Michael Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Jakobsson got free with Tom Törnkvist in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Adam Kielberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tingsryd manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Nykroppa to win.
