Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jerry Lustig took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 16th match minute, Överum IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Algren to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, Överum IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Harlén to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Gallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Jakobsson having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Överum IK's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Hermansson came free, but Viktor Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ockelbo IF booed when Överum IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Algren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ockelbo IF's Torsten Gallin in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Överum IK's goalie prevented a goal. Tobias Möllgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Lustig in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Backlund got free with Tobias Möllgren in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Möllgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Torsten Gallin made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ockelbo IF's zone, Sven-Olof Backlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Möllgren came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Backlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Olof Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Nordin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lennart Nordin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Överum IK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lennart Nordin hit a great ball. Jerry Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Backlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tobias Möllgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jerry Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Möllgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Lustig in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Jerry Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Möllgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Överum IK's Viktor Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Gallin in the 89th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
