After recieving a nice pass, Olofstorp IF's Mikael Hallgren tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mikael Målare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Bryngelsson was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Karl Bryngelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Karl Bryngelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Målare in the 28th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Olofstorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Hallgren. Vidar Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Mikael Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The supporters of Riddarhyttan FF booed when Olofstorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Olof Rydelius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Joensson in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mikael Målare made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Riddarhyttan FF's Wictor Österberg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Mikael Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sven-Olof Rydelius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Målare scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Bryngelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Mikael Målare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Filip Nordström came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Olofstorp IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Nordström couldn't finish the play. Karl Bryngelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Sven-Olof Rydelius made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Sven-Arne Joensson sent off a good shot on target. George Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Joakim Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olofstorp IF were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Riddarhyttan FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mikael Hallgren took the corner. Filip Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mikael Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
