When Kristoffer Kilström fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvissleby IF's protests and gave Kristoffer Kilström a yellow card for diving instead. Kristoffer Kilström hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Gustavsfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Vallander. Gustaf Mogren struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Karl-Johan Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvissleby IF. After having played for 11 minutes, Aron Hylander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustavsfors IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Hylander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Falkrans having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Marcus Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Björk having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Qvarnström in the 19th minute of play forced Gustavsfors IK's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Marcus Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gustavsfors IK and the Kvissleby IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kvissleby IF booed when Gustavsfors IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Gustaf Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvissleby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Mogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sune Bark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Johan Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Mogren in the 31st minute of the match. Karl-Johan Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Olov Vallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Valter Falkrans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Kvissleby IF's goalkeeper Valter Falkrans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Hylander. The referee gave Gustavsfors IK a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eddie Westerstrand, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kvissleby IF's Valter Falkrans. 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaf Mogren was the one to do the kick off. Jerry Beckström kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Aron Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsfors IK's zone, Gustaf Mogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Björk came out of the goal and Gustaf Mogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Olov Vallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valter Falkrans. Kvissleby IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Vallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 70 minutes into the match, Kvissleby IF's Gustaf Mogren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Johan Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Marcus Josefsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Gustavsfors IK's Marcus Josefsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsfors IK's zone, Gustaf Mogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Björk came out of the goal and Gustaf Mogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Gustaf Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvissleby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Mogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavsfors IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Gustaf Mogren scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Johan Björk, making the score, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gustavsfors IK had won after a very even match.
