In the 16th minute, Joachim Wikander made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Bark. Hallsberg FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hallsberg FF's goalkeeper Patrik Bark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Conny Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Degeberga IF's Niclas Falk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Hallsberg FF booed when Degeberga IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Falk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthon Forss received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Albohm came out and tried to block the shot, but Anthon Forss slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 33rd minute. Ralf Bruhn's late challenge caught a Degeberga IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Bruhn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Degeberga IF booed when Hallsberg FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Bruhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hallsberg FF's goalkeeper Patrik Bark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Degeberga IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Niclas Falk hit a great ball. Mats Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joseph Håkansson in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Degeberga IF's Jens-Ove Åhlberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mats Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Simon Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hallsberg FF and the Degeberga IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Hallsberg FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Snäll hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Nils Lundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degeberga IF and the Hallsberg FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anthon Forss might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Albohm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthon Forss ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Joseph Håkansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Albohm. Degeberga IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Håkansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ralf Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Albohm having to interfere. Anthon Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mats Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Joseph Håkansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mats Albohm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Åhlberg during the 83rd minute.
