Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vilhelm Dahlbom kicked off to start the match. Nils Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Lundström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Degeberga IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joachim Wikander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Dahlbom in the 15th minute of the match. When Ystad IFK's Vilhelm Dahlbom in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Degeberga IF's goalie prevented a goal. Nils Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Degeberga IF's zone, Sture Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Albohm came out of the goal and Sture Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joachim Wikander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Nordin having to interfere. Sture Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mats Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Dahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Sture Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nils Lundström made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Degeberga IF's goalkeeper Mats Albohm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sture Johnsson got free with Mats Albohm in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 played minutes Degeberga IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Åhlberg. In the 57th minute, Vilhelm Dahlbom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mats Albohm. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 62nd minute, Ystad IFK's Vilhelm Dahlbom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Albohm. Mats Albohm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Degeberga IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when George Kvick scored to the left of an out of position Mats Albohm, making the score, 0-3. Degeberga IF's Joachim Wikander got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Degeberga IF's Mats Albohm got control of the ball when Sture Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Joachim Wikander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degeberga IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sture Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. David Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Lundström in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sture Johnsson got free with Mats Albohm in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ystad IFK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Degeberga IF's much stronger midfield.
