Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Birger Sandberg started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Åstorp fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasper Häger during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vankiva booed when Åstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Häger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Åstorp's goalkeeper Kennet Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Rosen. The audience was convinced that Viggo Heggert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Johansson was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åstorp's goalkeeper Kennet Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Åstorp's Emanuel Dahlberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kennet Johansson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Magnus Rosen sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Åstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Heggert came free, but Kennet Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sven-Olof Andreasson fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åstorp's protests and gave Sven-Olof Andreasson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vankiva booed when Åstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Viggo Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Rosen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Kennet Johansson made a huge save. Sven-Olof Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viggo Heggert to make the kick off. Olof Bergströms short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Sixten Pettersson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olof Bergström got free with Sixten Pettersson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Birger Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Birger Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Pettersson having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Vankiva's Magnus Rosen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kennet Johansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Åstorp's Emanuel Dahlberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. Viggo Heggert struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Kennet Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vankiva. Sixten Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Sandberg in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Sandberg in the 73rd minute of play forced Vankiva's goalkeeper Sixten Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Åstorp's Birger Sandberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixten Pettersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sixten Pettersson was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Birger Sandberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Birger Sandberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Gunnar Lööf kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kennet Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Heggert in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Viggo Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Vankiva's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Sandberg came free, but Sixten Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åstorp played a much better game than Vankiva and deserved their victory. The Vankiva players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
