Uttran RK's Edmund Juhlin came free and shot a quick shot against goal 19 minutes in the game, fortunately Christer Stål had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Christer Stål made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Edmund Juhlin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Uttran RK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jörn Möller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Kullander in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Göransson in the 42nd minute of play forced Uttran RK's goalkeeper Jörn Möller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Lennart Kullander made a precise shot to the right of Jörn Möller. Uttran RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Mellberg was the one to do the kick off. Kjell-Arne Mellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Uttran RK booed when Råda IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Kjell-Arne Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Stål saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörn Möller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Kullander, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Råda IFK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Uttran RK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
