Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus Kellbom got the match started through his kick off. Särna's Karl-Johan Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Sundström in the 2nd minute of play. Josef Grönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Kellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Johan Bröms didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Albom went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mattias Albom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karl-Johan Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Lidman charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Lidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johannes Lidman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Karl-Johan Bröms didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Persson went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Åke Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Kellbom came free, but Josef Grönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Albom, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattias Albom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Östra Frölunda IFK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Andy Näfver hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Albom in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Bröms saved Särna from getting behind. When Pelle Brolin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Östra Frölunda IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Brolin couldn't finish the play. Åke Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Bröms having to interfere. Karl-Johan Bröms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Albom in the 67th minute of play. Särna's Karl-Johan Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Albom in the 71st minute of play. Östra Frölunda IFK's Åke Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joel Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattias Albom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Åke Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Karl-Johan Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Särna got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Lidman. Karl-Johan Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Albom in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Östra Frölunda IFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Särna throughout the match.
