Robin Andersson took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Ålberg. Inge Ålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ulf Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Carl Stenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo Ivarsson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ulf Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Ulrik Skog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graninge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Skog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulf Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Carl Stenkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graninge. Inge Ålberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Andersson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulrik Skog to strike the kick off in the second half. When Kjell Ahlqvist fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glommersträsk FK's protests and gave Kjell Ahlqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glommersträsk FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kjell Ahlqvist hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Glommersträsk FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Skog came free, but Carl Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Glommersträsk FK's Konrad Igelström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Ålberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Glommersträsk FK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Carl Stenkvist had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Josef Kilström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Graninge's Josef Kilström after 80 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Glommersträsk FK's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. Konrad Igelström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Igelström got free with Inge Ålberg in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Graninge booed when Glommersträsk FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Smedfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Glommersträsk FK's zone, Ulf Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Stenkvist came out of the goal and Ulf Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Glommersträsk FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
