After having played for 15 minutes, Andreas Pilgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utö IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Pilgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Håkan Bivall came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Strömsund FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Bivall couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Erik Olsson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils-Erik Olsson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Utö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Bivall came free, but Mikael Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Pilgren to make the kick off. Mikael Bergkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Håkan Bivall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Utö IF's zone, Håkan Bivall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Bergkvist came out of the goal and Håkan Bivall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Bivall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Willig's late challenge caught a Utö IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Willig helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Utö IF booed when Strömsund FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Pilgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Andreas Pilgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th play minute Sven Jonasson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mikael Bergkvist. 0-2. Gottfrid Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Eklund having to interfere. Ingmar Kock kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Sven Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
