In the 30th minute, Älvdalen's Ulrik Cane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Björn Backlund's late challenge caught a Alstermo IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Backlund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Älvdalen's Björn Backlund got a free kick in the 48th minute. Alvin Kjellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrik Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tobias Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alstermo IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Blomkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Kjellkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincent Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Alvin Kjellkvist made a huge save. Vilgot Axelsson came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Älvdalen's Ulrik Cane. But to his dismay, Ulrik Cane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alvin Kjellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Alebäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Knutsson in the 72nd minute of play forced Alstermo IFK's goalkeeper Vilgot Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
