Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Rosendahl during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Timrå IFK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kurt Rosendahl hit a great ball. Billy Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvin Linberg in the 5th minute. If Sven Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Mickelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alex Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sakarias Bäckström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersanna IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakarias Bäckström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Sundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Timrå IFK booed when Fagersanna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Linberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fagersanna IF's goalkeeper Alex Pilberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Sakarias Bäckström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Billy Sundin. Sakarias Bäckström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Kurt Rosendahl came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Timrå IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Rosendahl couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes of play, Timrå IFK's Sven Mickelsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Pilberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Billy Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Bäckström in the 36th minute of the match. Billy Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edvin Linberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Billy Sundin however easily saved by the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt Rosendahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Sven Mickelsson from a close distance when the talented Alex Pilberg managed to make a qualified save. Fagersanna IF's players were relieved. Sven Mickelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alex Pilberg made a huge save. Alex Pilberg was a little too slow when Kurt Rosendahl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Adrian Vesterberg put in a rough tackle. Adrian Vesterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Fagersanna IF's Alex Pilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Vennerström in the 67th minute of play. Christopher Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Alex Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kurt Rosendahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Pilberg was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 74th minute of the match, Kurt Rosendahl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Pilberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Johannes Wästerberg fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fagersanna IF's protests and gave Johannes Wästerberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Johannes Wästerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Wästerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Rosendahl in the 84th minute of the match. Kurt Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alex Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Rosendahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Pilberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Timrå IFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
