If Joar Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Näsåker booed when Horndal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Jelm in the 11th minute of play forced Horndal BF's goalkeeper Börje Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joar Beneth fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horndal BF's protests and gave Joar Beneth a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Lund in the 19th minute of play forced Näsåker's goalkeeper Harald Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Högström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Näsåker booed when Horndal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Johan Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Börje Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Patrick Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Karl-Johan Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Näsåker's Samuel Högström got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Samuel Högström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute Joar Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Åström having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Horndal BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Lund to maneuver through the defense.
