Ingemar Mellin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eric Kjellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the match, Hanaskog BF's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Kvist came free, but Lennart Wennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Tinglöf struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Lennart Wennersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Läckeby FK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Mellin got free with Paul Jespersson in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ingemar Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Jespersson having to interfere. Eric Kjellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Wennersten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Tinglöf in the 38th minute of the match. Lennart Wennersten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albin Kvist's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Albin Kvist scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Wennersten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Kjellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paul Jespersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Kjellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Eric Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Jespersson having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Hanaskog BF's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Kvist came free, but Lennart Wennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hanaskog BF booed when Läckeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Askstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingemar Mellin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Jespersson having to make a save. When Ingemar Mellin came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hanaskog BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingemar Mellin couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Albin Kvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lennart Wennersten was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albin Kvist in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Wennersten saved Hanaskog BF from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Läckeby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. Timmy Vennerkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Jespersson . Läckeby FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paul Jespersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Henry Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Läckeby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Wennersten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 98 minutes, Ingemar Mellin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hanaskog BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Mellin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Läckeby FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
