Vincent Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Emanuel Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Björnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Abelsson having to interfere. Emanuel Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Sjöberg in the 10th minute of play. When Börge Bollström fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Färentuna IFK's protests and gave Börge Bollström a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Abelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Sjöberg in the 24th minute of the match. Vincent Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lovikka's zone, Christer Björnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Abelsson came out of the goal and Christer Björnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes of play, Färentuna IFK's Christer Björnberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Abelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Färentuna IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Säv came free, but Philip Hamberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isak Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Bure during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anders Bure hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Vincent Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Färentuna IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Björnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Lovikka's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Sjöberg came free, but Emanuel Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Björnberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Abelsson having to make a save. Isak Billing hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Färentuna IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
