Torbjörn Svensson took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Colin. Leif Colin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Rättvik IK's Gunnar Lindholm in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mora's goalie prevented a goal. Torbjörn Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Colin having to interfere. Leif Colin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Svensson in the 12th minute of the match. Leif Colin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Arvidsson in the 15th minute of play. If Torbjörn Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Leif Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Håkan Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rättvik IK's Andy Bolander got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Michael Boberg came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Rättvik IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Boberg couldn't finish the play. Edward Valler was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Gunnar Lindholm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Lindholm really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After having played for 40 minutes, Gunnar Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rättvik IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Torbjörn Svensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Colin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Svensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bo Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Mora got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Björklund. Edward Valler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Lindholm in the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Bo Tidéksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Edward Valler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Håkan Arvidsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leif Colin. The goal made the score 2-3. Mora's Joar Kjellberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leif Colin but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Rättvik IK's zone, Torbjörn Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Colin came out of the goal and Torbjörn Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Bo Tidéksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Valler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Fredrik Björklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mora and the Rättvik IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Fredrik Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mora walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
