Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ljungbyholm's Marcus Ahlfors started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Roy Göransson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Bruhn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gert Åkerberg came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Alingsås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Åkerberg couldn't finish the play. Kennet Högman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gert Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Kvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Bruhn having to make a save. Axel Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Ahlfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Kennet Högman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gert Norberg. Ljungbyholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kennet Högman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marcus Ahlfors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungbyholm's zone, Gert Åkerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Norberg came out of the goal and Gert Åkerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Åkerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Norberg having to interfere. Karl-Johan Nord charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Nord the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Karl-Johan Nord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Michael Kvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gert Åkerberg came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Alingsås fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gert Åkerberg was the one to do the kick off. Ljungbyholm's Gert Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Bergström in the 51st minute of play. Gert Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Högman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70thth minute of the game Gert Åkerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungbyholm's Gert Norberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kennet Högman struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gert Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alingsås. After having played for 73 minutes, Gert Åkerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alingsås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Åkerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Michael Kvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Axel Bruhn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fredrik Alströmer kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Nils Albohm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 96th minute when Gert Åkerberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alingsås fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ljungbyholm had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
