The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Pål Kilberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulf Klack. Pål Kilberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Isac Östlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacka's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Östlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Klack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Korskrogen's Jerry Hansson got a free kick in the 11th minute. 17 minutes in the game, Isac Östlund fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ulf Klack having to interfere. The supporters of Nacka booed when Korskrogen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pål Kilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Klack having to interfere. The supporters of Nacka booed when Korskrogen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Hansson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Hansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerry Hansson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Ekman in the 41st minute of play forced Nacka's goalkeeper Georg Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Klack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Kilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd minute, Pål Kilberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulf Klack was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 49th minute, Marcus Eliasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Korskrogen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Sonny Ekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nacka getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Roger Hedlund hit a great ball. Sonny Ekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Backlund having to interfere. Georg Backlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Eliasson in the 72nd minute. Isac Östlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ulf Klack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Kilberg in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Klack saved Korskrogen from getting behind. Pål Kilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Nacka got a freekick which was hit by Roger Hedlund. Korskrogen's Marcus Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Korskrogen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nacka.
