After a rather tough play, Norrhult's Arne Tholsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute of the match Birger Åström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Waller skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Stellan Lindström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 11 minutes into the match, Stellan Lindström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michael Sundström, 1-0. If Christer Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agne Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mattias Waller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aneby FK. Norrhult's Andreas Björklund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Michael Sundström but with some difficulty. Agne Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mattias Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Ivarsson in the 26th minute of play. Mattias Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Roger Browald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norrhult and the Aneby FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Browald hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Stellan Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Michael Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Stellan Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Per-Åke Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stellan Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Per-Åke Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Per-Åke Säfström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norrhult's Mattias Waller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Stefan Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Aneby FK's Agne Ivarsson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 73rd minute, Norrhult's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Agne Ivarsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Norrhult's Roger Browald got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Per-Åke Säfström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norrhult's Mattias Waller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Waller made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Agne Ivarsson sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Lundgren during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Norrhult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agne Ivarsson got free with Mattias Waller in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Norrhult had won after a very even match.
