Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Rune Sundling kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ljusne's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Sundling came free, but Knut Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Sjöberg in the 5th minute of play. Ludwig Lenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Aleberg having to interfere. If Bror Nordmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, August Hjortberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljusne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veberöd the free kick. After 10 played minutes Ljusne got a freekick which was hit by August Hjortberg. The supporters of Veberöd booed when Ljusne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Elias Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljusne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Rune Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Knut Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goalkeeper Fabian Björklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Karlsson. With a little luck, Veberöd's Fabian Björklund got control of the ball when Elias Karlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roy Bergstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Björklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roy Bergstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Veberöd booed when Ljusne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Karl-Åke Benett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Nordmark in the 44th minute of play forced Ljusne's goalkeeper Knut Aleberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ljusne's Fred Sjöberg in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veberöd's goalie prevented a goal. Veberöd's Fabian Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Sjöberg in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Sjöberg to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ljusne's zone, Ludwig Lenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Aleberg came out of the goal and Ludwig Lenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Rune Sundling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Staffan Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljusne's protests and gave Staffan Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. Staffan Olofsson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Fred Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljusne's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Sjöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Elias Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Verner Flink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bengt-Rune Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veberöd's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Sundling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Knut Aleberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Karlsson came free, but Fabian Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes of play Ljusne's Staffan Olofsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Bror Nordmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veberöd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Veberöd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
