After some careless play in the Vellinge defense, Felix Johansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Strömqvist. The Vellinge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Strömqvist should have stopped the shot. Charlie Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The long shot by Tomas Eriksson in the 19th minute really tested Gustaf Finnman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gustaf Finnman came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Vellinge's Jesper Lustig. But to his dismay, Jesper Lustig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Isaac Strömqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Holm in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Morgan Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Strömqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Finnman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Telin in the 35th minute of the match. Charlie Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gunnar Grubb fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borensberg's protests and gave Gunnar Grubb a yellow card for diving instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morgan Holm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Morgan Holm put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Isaac Strömqvist. In the 60th match minute, Vellinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Snell to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Anthon Tillman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vellinge's Isaac Strömqvist didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Morgan Holm put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Isaac Strömqvist. After having played for 75 minutes, Charlie Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borensberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Snell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustaf Finnman. Borensberg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustaf Finnman came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Vellinge's Tony Göransson. But to his dismay, Tony Göransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After a rather tough play, Vellinge's Jesper Lustig got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Charlie Johnsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Borensberg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
