In the 42nd minute Jim Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Myr kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jim Söderberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Zander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Karl-Johan Hult kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Stefan Hydén from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Adam Zander's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 61st minute, one of Sidensjö:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sidensjö. The referee gave Simlångsdalen a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gösta Vennerberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sidensjö's Isac Björkdahl. 2-0. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sidensjö's goalkeeper Isac Björkdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Douglas Biörkman struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Isac Björkdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simlångsdalen. In the 71st minute, Inge Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simlångsdalen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Douglas Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Douglas Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Eriksson in the 89th minute of play forced Sidensjö's goalkeeper Isac Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Dick Lindberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simlångsdalen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sidensjö for a fine match.
