John Pil struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ulrik Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoting FF. If Kurt Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Blidö BF's Jarl Lidström got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kurt Söderqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Oskar Rydelius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Rydelius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Söderqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Hoting FF booed when Blidö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Pil took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrik Ivarsson. Ulrik Ivarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Albert Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, John Pil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoting FF's supporters rose to their feet, but John Pil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulrik Ivarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurt Söderqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Rydelius having to interfere. Ulrik Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Blidö BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hoting FF were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Söderqvist to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Hoting FF got a freekick which was hit by Elias Viberg. The attack was good, but when Simon Lund in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Hoting FF's Josef Ersman got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Blidö BF got a freekick which was hit by Sune Hurtig. John Pil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulrik Ivarsson having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Kurt Söderqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oskar Rydelius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. John Pil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulrik Ivarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Albert Kilström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blidö BF and the Hoting FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Blidö BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Simon Lund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Simon Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Albert Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
