After a rather tough play, Björketorp FF's Knut Fogel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Berg in the 4th minute of play forced Björketorp FF's goalkeeper Richard Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Nordmark in the 5th minute of play forced Ulricehamn IFK's goalkeeper Olof Moberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Magnus Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ulricehamn IFK's goalkeeper Olof Moberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Georg Wennerberg fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ulricehamn IFK's protests and gave Georg Wennerberg a yellow card for diving instead. When Björketorp FF's Herman Nordmark in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ulricehamn IFK's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Benjamin Berg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olof Moberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulricehamn IFK's Olof Moberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Berg in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Björketorp FF booed when Ulricehamn IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Alrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Herman Nordmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björketorp FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Björketorp FF's Benjamin Berg got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Herman Nordmark came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Björketorp FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Nordmark couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Berg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Berg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 minutes, Olov Bröms mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björketorp FF and the Ulricehamn IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Björketorp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Bröms to maneuver through the defense. Richard Almqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Björketorp FF's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Berg came free, but Richard Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Ulricehamn IFK's Allan Berg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Almqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herman Nordmark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Benjamin Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Nordmark in the 78th minute of play forced Ulricehamn IFK's goalkeeper Olof Moberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Hellström in the 80th minute of play forced Björketorp FF's goalkeeper Richard Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Nordmark did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Olof Moberg 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Björketorp FF's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Hellström came free, but Richard Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Herman Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björketorp FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Nordmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Ulricehamn IFK got a freekick which was hit by Georg Wennerberg. Olof Moberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Nordmark in the 95th minute of the match. The Ulricehamn IFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Björketorp FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Björketorp FF.
