When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gösta Håkansson made a kick off. Gunnarsbyn's Olle Lustig got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, Hishult IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Browall to maneuver through the defense. If Gösta Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfons Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Hishult IK's Kjell Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Håkansson in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Gunnarsbyn's Olle Lustig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Kinnman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frans Salqvist hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Pontus Dahlkvist had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Rune Mårtensson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Olle Lustig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kjell Kinnman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Hishult IK's Sivert Forssberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pontus Dahlkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnarsbyn's zone, Sivert Forssberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pontus Dahlkvist came out of the goal and Sivert Forssberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute, Magnus Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hishult IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
