Gilbert Mattsson hit a great ball. Jens-Åke Bergendahl hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Åke Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jens-Ola Bjursell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södra Sunderbyn. After 27 played minutes Södra Sunderbyn got a freekick which was hit by Åke Bengtsson. In the 46th minute Gilbert Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Bjursell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jens-Åke Bergendahl made the kick off in the second half. Brian Flinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Vase having to interfere. When Storvreta's Jens-Åke Bergendahl in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Södra Sunderbyn's Stig Mårtensson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Storvreta. If Gilbert Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Södra Sunderbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Bjursell having to interfere. The supporters of Storvreta booed when Södra Sunderbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Bock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Vase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Bergendahl in the 81st minute of the match. If Bengt-Åke Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Flinck in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Gilbert Mattsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Mattsson in the 95th minute of play forced Storvreta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Bjursell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Åke Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Södra Sunderbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Bengtsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ola Bjursell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Södra Sunderbyn's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Södra Sunderbyn may have spent more time on the ball, but Storvreta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
