In the 10th minute, Frans Friberger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Olov Ros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dala-Floda BF's Douglas Hammarbäck. Douglas Hammarbäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 played minutes Ekenässjön IK got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vibjörnsson. After recieving a nice pass, Dala-Floda BF's Östen Jönsson tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dala-Floda BF's Kent Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Ekenässjön IK got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Benett. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 26th minute, but Lucas Lundberg got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ekenässjön IK hanging dry this time. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pontus Giöck during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Ekenässjön IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Giöck to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tomas Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Hammarbäck was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Lucas Lundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Michael Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekenässjön IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dala-Floda BF the free kick. The supporters of Dala-Floda BF booed when Ekenässjön IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östen Jönsson, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pontus Giöck kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Frans Friberger might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Lundberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frans Friberger ran back to his position shaking his head. After 81 played minutes Ekenässjön IK got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Giöck. Lucas Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Friberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Dala-Floda BF's protests and gave Stefan Qvalfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Dala-Floda BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Qvalfeldt to maneuver through the defense.
