Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ingemar Löfdahl got the match started through his kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Vännäsby's Orvar Björling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Sandberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orvar Björling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Valdemar Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Josef Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svante Fredriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimmie Haström took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Sandberg. Valdemar Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Orvar Björling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdemar Sandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Josef Bodin came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Kalix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Bodin couldn't finish the play. Erik Jonasson's late challenge caught a Vännäsby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmie Haström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Valdemar Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Ted Pihl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdemar Sandberg skillfully saved the ball. Valdemar Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Haström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Ahlstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esbjörn Frisck in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Roland Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vännäsby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalix the free kick. The supporters of Kalix booed when Vännäsby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vännäsby's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Löfdahl came free, but Hugo Ahlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Björling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th match minute, Vännäsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Ahlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Löfdahl in the 66th minute of play. Orvar Björling might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdemar Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orvar Björling ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the game, Jimmie Haström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Sandberg. Jimmie Haström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 78 played minutes Kalix got a freekick which was hit by Arman Elg. After 79 played minutes, Vännäsby's Svante Fredriksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdemar Sandberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vännäsby reached it. Orvar Björling scored 0-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Sandberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esbjörn Frisck in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Kalix's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Haström came free, but Valdemar Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vännäsby walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
