Björn Tönnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gösta Beneth kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Peder Duset got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, one of Vallåkra RK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vallåkra RK. 28 minutes in the game, Peder Duset fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Björn Tönnberg having to interfere. A collision led to Vallåkra RK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gösta Beneth hit a great ball. Björn Tönnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Duset, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Olle Bryngelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Beneth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar Clementsson in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Åke Strömberg saved Obbola from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peder Duset to make the kick off. Sven-Åke Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Vallåkra RK's Sonny Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Åke Strömberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peder Duset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Beneth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Sonny Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallåkra RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Olle Bryngelsson made a precise shot to the right of Björn Tönnberg. Vallåkra RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Obbola booed when Vallåkra RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Clementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Håkansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Åke Strömberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Sonny Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Valdemar Clementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Håkansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Sven-Åke Strömberg made a huge save.
