Fengersfors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljusfallshammar IFK the free kick. The supporters of Ljusfallshammar IFK booed when Fengersfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Apelkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Sigfridsson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Andersson in the 97th minute of play forced Ljusfallshammar IFK's goalkeeper Viktor Liljeström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
