Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vrena's Jörgen Danielsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jens-Ola Tomasson came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Vrena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ola Tomasson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vrena's Aaron Sandwall got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Edward Apelquist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Påk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vincent Påk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Rosendal in the 20th minute of play. Tage Rosendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vincent Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greger Benett charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Benett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Greger Benett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Jens-Ola Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ola Tomasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Åmotfors IF's Per Ström got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes, Vrena's Jens-Ove Larsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gert Malm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vrena reached it. After 33 played minutes Åmotfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Greger Benett. If Jörgen Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vrena's zone, Per Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Påk came out of the goal and Per Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tage Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tage Rosendal was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Jörgen Danielsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gert Malm. That made the score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Tage Rosendal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Påk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Karl-Michael Högman's late challenge caught a Åmotfors IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Michael Högman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Vrena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Högman to maneuver through the defense. Gert Malm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gert Malm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ola Tomasson in the 64th minute. Valentin Lagerberg scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Påk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Åmotfors IF's Gert Malm got control of the ball when Andréas Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincent Påk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Rosendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Påk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Valentin Lagerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Påk having to make a save. Vincent Påk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Rosendal in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Jörgen Danielsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gert Malm. Jörgen Danielsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. When Tage Rosendal came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Åmotfors IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Rosendal couldn't finish the play. Åmotfors IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
