The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Alnö's Gustav Nordlund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alnö's goalkeeper Johannes Grönlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Charlie Bålström fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alnö's protests and gave Charlie Bålström a yellow card for diving instead. Charlie Bålström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Alnö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Brenner to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Grönlund having to interfere. The supporters of Insjön FK booed when Alnö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Nordlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Alnö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Brenner to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Grönlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Sörman in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Stig Pil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Börje Brun, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Alnö's Stig Pil got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Alnö players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Insjön FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
