In the 5th minute, Torgny Odin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edsvalla IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edsvalla IF's Dan Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Kilberg in the 9th minute of play. Agne Kilberg's late challenge caught a Edsvalla IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agne Kilberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Agne Kilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Alnö's Herbert Lindholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Brask narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Herbert Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Alnö fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Alnö's Herbert Lindholm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bertil Hagström kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hubert Löfgren scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Grönlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herbert Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Brask having to interfere. Torgny Odin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johannes Grönlund having to make a save. Alnö's Johannes Grönlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Löfgren in the 35th minute of play. Torgny Odin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Grönlund having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Torgny Odin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edsvalla IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alnö the free kick. A collision led to Edsvalla IF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Torgny Odin hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Torgny Odin struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Johannes Grönlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edsvalla IF. After 59 minutes, Hubert Löfgren made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Alnö's Johannes Grönlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Kilberg in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Agne Kilberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Alnö getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bror Mellin hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Niclas Lundqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edsvalla IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alnö the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Niclas Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 minutes, Bertil Hagström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edsvalla IF and the Alnö players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Herbert Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Alnö's Johannes Grönlund got control of the ball when Hubert Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bror Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When Niclas Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Edsvalla IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Lundqvist couldn't finish the play.
