Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Älta's Sivert Pihlwall started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Herbert Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alnö's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Juhlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Grönlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Alnö got a freekick which was hit by Stig Pil. Sivert Pihlwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Juhlin made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Herbert Lindholm sent off a good shot on target. After 35 played minutes Älta got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Bokelund. Älta's Lucas Juhlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Älta from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Älta's goal looked a bit too open when Agne Kilberg came free, but Lucas Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urban Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agne Kilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Juhlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agne Kilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the game, Charlie Bålström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alnö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älta the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agne Kilberg made a kick off. The supporters of Älta booed when Alnö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zebastian Bäckström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Johannes Grönlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 60 minutes of play, Alnö's Agne Kilberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Juhlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Urban Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alnö the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Älta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. During the 68th minute of the match Charlie Bålström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Charlie Bålström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Alnö getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Charlie Bålström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Älta's zone, Nils Brenner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Juhlin came out of the goal and Nils Brenner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zebastian Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Agne Kilberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alnö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älta the free kick. A collision led to Alnö getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Agne Kilberg hit a great ball. When Herbert Lindholm came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Alnö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Lindholm couldn't finish the play. Älta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
