Fritz Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Berg in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Jim Örtendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kungsgården BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tranås IK the free kick. After 10 played minutes Kungsgården BF got a freekick which was hit by Jim Örtendahl. Sigvard Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bengt-Arne Harlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Tranås IK were awarded a corner. Arman Jelm went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Tranås IK's corner Arman Jelm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fritz Söder quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Kungsgården BF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dennis Kock hit a great ball. Fritz Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Harlén in the 27th minute of the match. Tranås IK's Sigvard Berg got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt-Arne Harlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fritz Söder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kungsgården BF's Gösta Viberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Sigvard Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranås IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Arne Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kungsgården BF's goalkeeper Fritz Söder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fritz Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Harlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Niclas Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Kråk in the 51st minute of the match. Mikael Kråk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sverker Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Niclas Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Alvin Bergvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tranås IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kungsgården BF the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Alvin Bergvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niclas Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Kråk in the 65th minute of the match. Niclas Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Kråk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Sigvard Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sigvard Berg came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tranås IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigvard Berg couldn't finish the play. After having played for 79 minutes, Bengt-Arne Harlén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranås IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Harlén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes, Karl-Åke Sandwall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kungsgården BF and the Tranås IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Kungsgården BF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Sandwall. If Sigvard Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tranås IK's Niclas Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Kråk in the 96th minute of play. Tranås IK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kungsgården BF had won, even though Tranås IK had held more of the ball.
