After 10 played minutes Stenkullen got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Kruuse. Viktor Bogren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kennet Gustafsson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Viktor Bogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rikard Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Ystad got a freekick which was hit by Axel Andersson. Pär Heggert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helge Hansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Ystad got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Bogren. If Gustaf Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Gustaf Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helge Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pär Heggert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Helge Hansson made a huge save. Gustaf Olsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helge Hansson came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaf Olsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 43rd minute. Helge Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Bogren to strike the kick off in the second half. Per-Åke Sjödin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Stenkullen's Ian Clementsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ystad. In the 61st minute, Per-Åke Sjödin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rikard Björklund. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 66th minute, Stenkullen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Viktor Bogren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Viktor Bogren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rikard Björklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktor Bogren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 68th minute. When Tommy Godholm fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stenkullen's protests and gave Tommy Godholm a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stenkullen's Tommy Godholm got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rikard Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Bogren in the 82nd minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Ystad got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Wahlnäs. Rikard Björklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reine Tingberg in the 96th minute.
