Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kenneth Tomasson kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Måns Pihlwall during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Edsbruk RK booed when Älvängen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Rosin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zebastian Emander. Älvängen IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Edsbruk RK's Jonathan Felin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zebastian Emander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kenneth Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Emander having to interfere. Zebastian Emander came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Edsbruk RK's Börje Bergqvist. But to his dismay, Börje Bergqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Börje Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fritz Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Helge Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Edsbruk RK's Elias Rosin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Helge Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sebastian Öman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helge Kihlman. Edsbruk RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Svante Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zebastian Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Kenneth Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Edsbruk RK defense, Fritz Blom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helge Kihlman. The Edsbruk RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helge Kihlman should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Svante Strömberg made the kick off in the second half. Svante Strömberg's late challenge caught a Edsbruk RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svante Strömberg helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the match, Edsbruk RK's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Blom came free, but Helge Kihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fritz Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Kihlman having to interfere. If Fritz Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joar Skoog kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Svante Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svante Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Helge Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Svante Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svante Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Helge Kihlman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älvängen IF. After 86 minutes of play, Älvängen IF's Svante Strömberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helge Kihlman was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Edsbruk RK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ronny Nordstedt hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Älvängen IF's Knut Wallander tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Blom in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helge Kihlman prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
